Willian signs for Arsenal

Having signed for Chelsea in 2013, Willian went on to make 282 appearances and contributing 82 goals and assists winning 2 premier league trophies, a League cup and a Europa League trophy with Chelsea, the Brazilian playmaker trades the team for rivals Arsenal.

Arsenal signs Willian on a 3year deal

Arsenal announced that they had signed Willian on a free transfer after his contract with the blues expired. Report coming in had it that he had requested for an extension but the Blues couldn’t give him an extension more than two years, thus he decided to part with the club.

With Mikel Arteta trying to build something new with the Arsenal team, one can say signing Willian was a masterstroke and could yield dividends. Although many players had switched between the two rivals and never remained the same while some thrived.

Already boasting of enough attacking talent in the team, with the likes of Aubameyang, Lacazette and Pepe, one can say this Arsenal team could be a force by the upcoming season.
