As a young striker at Manchester United, Marcus Rashford has plenty of club legends to look up to – and one has even reached out to him.
According to The Athletic, a tier-one source, Wayne Rooney has been privately giving the 23-year-old goalscoring advice after seeing the striker’s potential.
The new Derby County manager has reportedly told his friends that he expects Rashford to eventually break his 253-goal record and become Man United’s highest scorer.
The Old Trafford graduate has now found the net 83 times in all competitions for the the Red Devils, overtaking none other than Eric Cantona himself in the goalscoring charts.
