- De Gea was in Spain for the birth of his daughter.
- The goalkeeper is currently self-isolating in Manchester.
- Ole confirms the Spaniard is ‘touch and go’ for Sunday’s clash.
Speaking to the media ahead of Sunday’s clash against West Ham, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “David De Gea is back in Manchester.
“So he is quarantining, or self-isolating. He is touch and go for Sunday I think, as I am not sure if it was Monday or Tuesday when he arrived back in Manchester. “He has got to stay at home. He is not training with us anyway. It is different if you travel away and compete, he has not been training since he came back.”
Dean Henderson has featured in Manchester United’s last 3 games while De Gea was by his wife’s side in Spain as the couple welcomed a baby daughter.
While it’s been previously suggested that the Englishman was going to play all of the remaining games in March, Solskjaer will now make his decision on Sunday.
