- The Red Devils are looking to go all the way in the Europa League.
- Solskjaer wants to make things right after 3 semi-final defeats last season.
Speaking to the media ahead of the AC Milan clash, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “For a team, when you win something it does something to you. I feel also that it can be a catalyst to something bigger and better.
“We need to get there at some point. When you’re in the Europa League you want to go as far as you can in it and go all the way. Last season, the defeat in the semis was a bitter pill to swallow.”
Manchester United remain in the running for two trophies this season (the FA Cup and the Europa League) while the Premier League title appears to be out of reach.
Last season, the Red Devils suffered three semi-final defeats: in the FA Cup (against Chelsea), the EFL Cup (against Manchester City) and the Europa League (against Sevilla).
