The 21-year-old is highly rated despite serious injury issues.

After Bayern Munich have confirmed that they are signing Dayot Upamecano, Man United are among teams switching their focus to his RB Leipzig teammate Ibrahima Konate.

As per German media outlet Bild, Chelsea and Liverpool are also eyeing the 21-year-old centre-back.

The Frenchman has had his injury issues: since the start of the 2019/20 season, he’s only played 15 Bundesliga games; on Friday, he’s made his first appearance after almost a two-month absence.

That does not appear to scare bigger sides off, though, with Man United linked with the player for the first time in May 2020.United have been said to have some other big names in their list of potential centre-backs to sign during the summer, including Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane.
