Henderson remains the dedicated cup goalkeeper under Solskjaer.
The Englishman understands that his chance will come sooner or later.
Speaking to Manchester United’s official website, Dean Henderson said: “I’ve just got to keep ticking along, keep doing well.
“My best is yet to come. I’ll keep waiting for those opportunities to come and hopefully I can build a bit of momentum and show my best form.”
Henderson made his Europa League debut in the 4-0 win against Real Sociedad on Thursday, keeping yet another clean sheet for the Red Devils.
However, David De Gea is likely to start against Newcastle in the Premier League on Sunday as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to put faith in the Spaniard.
