Bruno Fernandes auctions shirt and boots from Manchester derby win to raise money for sick kids

The midfielder is attempting to raise £720,000.

Bruno Fernandes has launched a campaign via Go Get Funding, where he will auction his shirt and boots from the 2-0 win over Man City to raise money for siblings Leonor and Jamie.

The Man United star wrote on the website: “I’ve recently been made aware of Leonor and Jaime’s situation.

Five-year-old Leonor and Jaime, who is eight, are siblings and were both diagnosed with a very rare cancer – neuroblastoma.

Being a father myself, this kind of story really moves you. I can’t even imagine the pain and agony their parents must be living right now.”The treatment for both kids will cost in the region of £720,000 – and Bruno has raised about £20,000 in less than a day!

This is a classy gesture from the 26-year-old, who now holds the record for scoring the fastest goal at the Etihad in a Premier League game.
